About Southdown

Who We Are

Southdown is an independent, non-profit registered charity, serving ordained clergy, vowed religious, lay pastoral minsters and all adults who consider faith and spirituality to be integral to their lives. Established in 1966, we have earned a reputation as a recognized industry leader in the provision of preventative and restorative care. Our highly experienced, multidisciplinary team is dedicated to helping our clients find healing and well-being.

We are dedicated to clinical and organizational excellence in providing individualized client-focused care in all Southdown programs and services.

Meet Our Team

Our highly educated and professionally trained clinical team includes psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrist, registered nurses, spiritual directors, art psychotherapist, fitness instructor, registered massage therapist, and dietitian.

Our team works collaboratively in our client-centered approach to address the needs of the individual, and applies best practices in utilizing the latest evidence-based modalities.

At Southdown, our commitment to continuous quality improvement, safety, and accountability is demonstrated by our voluntary participation in accreditation. Southdown is accredited by Accreditation Canada, and has been accredited with Exemplary Standing, the highest rating available under the Qmentum accreditation program,.
