Southdown provides preventative and restorative care using the integration of psychological, physical and interpersonal practice with the wisdom of the Catholic spiritual tradition.
We are an independent, non-profit registered charity, and all donations are gratefully received. Official donation receipts for income tax purposes are issued for all donations over $5.00.

Choosing to make a one-time or monthly donation to Southdown can be done easily and quickly. When you choose to make a monthly donation, you automatically give a specified amount to Southdown each month, and your continued gift makes a bigger impact over the course of the year.

Choosing to make a donation of publicly traded securities, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, is tax-efficient as capital gains taxes do not apply. You will also receive a charitable tax receipt for the full market value (resale) of your gift. Please consult your professional advisor about your most suitable, and tax-effective way to donate to Southdown. You can use online CanadaHelps securities donation form to make your gift.
Planned Giving
Choosing to leave a planned gift to Southdown in your will a wonderful way to continue to support our programs and services in the achievement of our mission and ministry. Bequests can be in the form of cash, real estate, securities, tangible personal property, or other assets. Southdown will issue an official donation receipt for the value of your gift.
We encourage you to seek advice from a qualified estate lawyer to ensure that your planned gift is set up in the most appropriate way. If you already have a will, an amendment can be added to designate a planned gift to Southdown.
