In order to minimize distraction from therapeutic work and to promote heightened interaction among the residents, we ask the residents not to use any personal technology (or any device that can access the Internet), including cellular phones, and personal televisions. Cellular phones required for travel are placed in safekeeping on arrival until departure. There are computers with access to Internet in common room, which are reserved for residents. In an effort to be fully engaged in the assessment process and free of distractions, our general practice is that assessment participants are not to access the Internet/emails during assessment week.
